Tutorial: Using VB to launch files from the Flash projector

As you've probably discovered, the standalone projector environment can only launch other executables. That's why I created this brief Visual Basic project hack that allows you to call any type of file from the projector environment. Just edit the project in VB and compile it into an exe. As long as the file you're trying to launch (HTML page, Web page, Powerpoint preso, whatever) is accessible and is registered to a default application (e.g., *.pdf are registered to be opened by Acrobat on the users machine), this will allow you to launch practically anything from the projector environment.
