Tutorial: Resolving the dreaded Red X when embedding Macromedia
Flash inside of a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation
The dreaded "Red X" can appear for a number of reasons.
Usually it has to do with Powerpoint not understanding how to use
the content in combination with the object it has been asked to
use. Some of the more frequent causes of the red X are listed on
the following pages. If you have one that does not appear, please
send
it along. I'll try to resolve the issue and post the information
for future use.
