Tutorial: Requirements for embedding Macromedia Flash movies in Microsoft Powerpoint presentations (Step 3)

If you don't see the component in this folder, or if you're just wanting to be sure that you have it, the easiest way to install the ActiveX component is to visit Macromedia.com with Internet Explorer. It's imperative that you use IE. Netscape and other browsers will install the Shockwave Flash Plug-in.That's a very useful plug-in for viewing Web content, but it's useless for our purposes here. Click here if IE is your default browser. If Firefox, Opera, or another browser is your default browser, please visit the link above using IE.
