Tutorial: Requirements for embedding Macromedia Flash movies in Microsoft Powerpoint presentations (Step 2)

The easiest way to tell if you have the Flash ActiveX component is to look in your Internet Explorer installation directory. In most cases, this will reside in your "Windows" directory or your "WINNT" directory. Look for a folder entitled "Dowloaded Program Files." In that folder, you'll find the "Shockwave Flash Object." In my case, that looks like this. (Your results may differ.)
