Welcome to .flashgeek. I'm working on some updates and revising some of the Flash tutorials and, of course, the Powerpoint tutorials. If there is anything in particular you're wanting me to pursue, please post it on the .flashgeek board. Since the release of Macromedia Flash MX, a number of folks have reported strange occurrences. Among the most prevalent weirdness is the upside-down-and-backwards embedded object. Fear not, Flash faithful! It's only a minor glitch. Please, please, please, go download the latest version of the ActiveX control from Macromedia. This effect seems to be occurring in Flash control 6,0,2 (shipped with the product) and earlier. Welcome to .flashgeek., home for Rick Turoczy's Flash and Powerpoint tutorials. I've put all of the Flash tutorials from my ancient personal site out here. They've even been revised, as promised. You can either jump right to a specific tutorial below, or head to the main page to get a brief description of what each tutorial covers. As always, I want your input on how effective these are and how they need to be fixed. Flash and Powerpoint: Jazzing up Presos
