Sometimes, people (clients, bosses, co-workers) say "We've really got to have some Flash on the site. Here's my idea..." Sometimes it is your duty to humanity and Flash designers everywhere to say, "No." It's okay to say, "No." Or you can just say "Yes" and wind up with something like this.
Okay, so it's not Flash. But I Found Some Of Your Life is genius.
They're in the middle of judging the latest sick designs at design for chunks. Stay tuned for the winners. But, really, aren't we all winners?
I could kill ants and text message with a non-reasoning machine for hours on end. That's why I think there must be people watching me when I encounter sites like this.
Maybe it's just late. I don't get amorphica. I would really like to, I would. I can tell it should be cool. But I can't understand a word they are saying.

Sharp clean design. Make sure to check the font section for some free downloads.
Sometimes the simplicity of focusing on what's really important about the site, those scant particular elements that the viewer really needs to see and know, can be just a really nice thing

Check out the collection of work over at bunch. I like it. I like it... um... a bunch?
Install the language packs (for IE) or skip them. Either way R I N N E L will impress. And really, truly, isn't that so much nicer than depress? That's right, it is. Now go. Don't make me tell you again.
You have got to be kidding me. This is ridiculously good. Incredibly simple with tight animation.
He said Beedigital, so I was.
Ever wonder what happened to Starsky (and I'm not talking Ben Stiller neo-Starsky, I'm talking old-school Paul Michael Glaser, baby) after he and Hutch got their gold watches and split town? Apparently, the dark-haired, big-sweater-wearin', bad-ass-car-drivin' cop is now an even meaner Flash designer. Oh, and he learned to code in Swedish. Nice try, Starsky. We know it's you.
It's nice to see that Natzke's site is suffering a lack of updating just like... What's that? He's presenting where? Oh. Oh, there too? Hmm. Oh, really. He did that too? Oh well, maybe I can just buy his source and act like I was busy too.
Do you know your complementary colors? Do you know what colors to mix to make orange? If you answered either of these questions (I don't care how you answered them), then this site is for you.

I heart big, tightly-kerned-Helvetica-esque design. Therefore, I heart Digital Kitchen.
My primary question remains: Where do these guys find the time to build excessively cool sites for themselves and still do client work? Impressive time management. Almost as impressive as the site.

Maybe if I host my site here then some of the coolness will just rub off on it. What's that? Oh. I guess I'll get back to work then.
Three words: programatically rendered gradients. One more: Whoa.
Everyone is simply raving about AMPLIFIER. And I must admit, it's some of the best use of motion I've seen in quite some time.
It's nice to see that, even though I was on an extended hiatus, all the other people who I loved to watch kept on working, building new things. And, there are very few folks out there who can mathematically manipulate Flash as well as Levitated. So glad it's still being developed.
I've always been a huge fan of clangy sound effects.

PUNCHCUT demonstrates a simple interface seasoned with Flash elements to add some interactivity, but it's their copy that really grabs the attention.
Somtimes, I just have to check in to see what Mr. Davis is doing.
I'm revisiting all of my old haunts, rebuilding favorites, and looking for inspiration. One of the first spots I stop is always the second. In my opinion, Second Story Interactive Studios will always be one of the best. I love that they're in my hometown. I hate that I will never be talented enough to work for them.
Do you have Moock's new book, yet? What are you waiting for?
Granted, I'm a wee bit behind on my reading but how in the heck did I miss Flash Goddess? I love sites that are focused at a very particular segment, especially when they are well done.
Why, it seems like just yesterday when I started using Flash. But it wasn't. I mean, it was Flash (well okay FutureSplash and then Macromedia Flash). It just wasn't yesterday. And how do I know that? Because now they are offering Flash jobs for Director, Flash Marketing at Samsung Semiconductor. Where oh where have these fine types of gigs come from, I ask? I'm happy. Or jealous. Or something.
My, my. We've come a long way baby.
Oh wait. That's for Flash memory. Which apparently was what I was stuck in, as well. Oopie. Oh well, there's always ActionScript work.

I still find theyrule one of the most intriguing database-driven cool Flash sites out there. It's just smart.
I'm sorry. I've got to go get some fresh air. I don't know if it's the overload of Doritos or if this wicked spinning has made me ookie.
I know that this one has been blogged by everyone by now. And I know that they do work for P Diddy. But I mean, c'mon. I keep going back and I keep finding things that I didn't notice before. This is just real nice.
